RAINFALL is a puzzle game that takes the classic falling-block formula and breaks it with sand physics.

Pieces don't just stack cleanly, they crumble, shift, and settle like real sand. Every placement matters more than you think, and the board punishes sloppy play in ways you won't expect.

As you play, you climb through a rank system (WHICH IS CURRENTLY NOT WORKING) from Silica up through Quartz and beyond. Weekly leaderboards keep you competing. Challenges push you to survive, adapt, and think differently about every piece that drops.

Built solo from scratch. This is an early access release.. rough in places, but the core is real and the concept is solid. Updates are coming. (hopefully)

If you enjoy it, leave a comment. If you want to support a solo dev shipping his first game, any contribution helps more than you know.. trust me.

I like your concept. The physics is really cool but because of that, the block shapes aren't all that important as they land to fill the hole regardless of their shape. I felt as if I was just making pretty patterns on the screen - which in itself is quite fun to do - but not really playing a game.

this feels amazing replaying to real reviews haha

thanks you for taking the time to leave a comment, I truly appreciate it.

correct ! but not entirely, color matter more but shapes matter too because a 2x2 square piece would generate a different sand footprint then lets say a T shape piece, and its my responsibility to make a good pieces generation system for you to notice that which make it my bad. version 0.2 coming soon !

v0.1-alpha — Sound coming soon.
